In mid-2023, the Jakarta Experience Board (JXB) launched The Tavia Collection as part of its hotel rebranding efforts. This design masterpiece has earned the prestigious 2024 IF Design Award. The award was presented to the creative agency "6616", the designer of the brand, and JXB, the brand owner. The Tavia targets both local and international travelers seeking unique accommodation and tourism experiences in Jakarta. 
 

Since its inception in 1953, the IF DESIGN AWARD has been a globally prestigious event in design. It serves as a platform to honor exceptional design work. Today, it stands as one of the most significant design awards globally, attracting thousands of designers, architects, and companies each year who submit their works to be evaluated by independent design experts. This year, the award saw participation from 10,800 contestants across 72 countries. 
 

The Tavia Collection received its accolade in the Visual Identity System category. The success of The Tavia’s visual identity system lies in its ability to effectively communicate the essence of the product and brand through its visual logo. This achievement reflects the dedication and creativity of the design team behind The Tavia Collection and their commitment to delivering a consistent brand experience. The renovation process of JXB's The Tavia hotel encompassed not just its exterior appearance but also its systemic identity. 
 

In collaboration with the 6616 Creative House design vendor, JXB ensured that The Tavia’s visual identity encapsulated the brand's essence. Built on a clearly conceptual design system that defines the individuality and distinctiveness of each hotel, it paves the way for introducing new experiences. The concept of The Tavia Collection illustrates how a design system can extend a business vision. 
 

The accolade from the fF Design not only celebrates the success of The Tavia Collection but also highlights the importance of design excellence in the hospitality sector. JXB appreciates the 2024 IF Design Award recognition, affirming its commitment to innovation and quality, setting a high standard for future design endeavors in the industry.
